Terms of service

These terms are between you (the church or person using Revela) and the Revela team, who make Revela. By installing or using Revela you agree to them.

1. The licence

• Revela is licensed per PC, not sold. Each key or plan covers one PC at a time.
• Every new PC may try all of Revela free for 14 days, once.
• After the trial, Revela keeps opening and Preview keeps working, but nothing goes on the screens without a plan (Songs & Scripture or Pro) or a key.
• You may move a key to another PC from Settings → Licence, a few times a year.

2. Plans and payment

• Plans are paid monthly or yearly, per PC, in advance, and renew until cancelled.
• Payments online are handled by our payment partner, who acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax.
• Prices may change; a change applies from your next renewal, and we tell you before it does.
• If a plan is not renewed, Revela keeps your songs, Bibles and settings; the screens wait until a plan is active again.

3. What you may not do

• Share, sell or publish keys, or use one key on more PCs than it covers.
• Change, unpack or work around Revela's licence checks.
• Use Revela, or packs from the Revela Store, outside the church or organisation that holds the plan.

4. Your content

Your songs, sermons, Bibles, pictures and videos stay yours and stay on your PC. You are responsible for having the rights to show them (for example a CCLI licence for songs, and permission for Bible translations you add).

5. The Revela Store

Packs from the Revela Store are licensed for use by the church or organisation that got them, on its own PCs. They may not be resold or shared with other churches.

6. No warranty

We work hard to make Revela reliable, but it is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for more than you paid us in the last 12 months.

7. Ending

You can stop using Revela at any time. We may stop a key that is shared or misused. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
